update---1 yr

Well, Lyndsey is really 13 months old now but she just had her 1 yr check up this week. She is 24 lbs and 30 inches long and surprisingly enough this weight did not push her off the charts. She is getting to be so much fun, she tries to say everything that we do and she is all over place.
---she has 8 teeth
---does patty cake and itsy bitsy spider
---doesn't walk but stands up to everything

---says tons of things and tries really hard to say more

---loves to play outside and go for walks

---sleeps all night and definitely knows when it is bedtime
---hasn't found a food yet that she doesn't like

---still has blue eyes(can't believe that one)

---and has absolutely stolen her mama's heart....I thank God for my girls everyday and love that I get to be as involved in their lives as I do, some moms aren't so lucky!!

Salt City Crush

I very rarely post pictures of Lauren but I love this picture of her new softball team for this year. I thought it was very original and not a "typical" softball picture--hopefully they play as tough as they look!! Go Crush!!

We are back....Lyndsey 1st bday

Easter weekend we had Lyndsey's 1st birthday party---this was a HUGE party!!! All of my side of the family was there except Steve, Katie, and Sara and Bob's sisters and their families were there as well. It was so nice to have everyone together and the weather ended up being nice as well. Here is a picture of Lyndsey's cake, it was half strawberry and half vanilla and it was all gone!!!

Here is a picture of Lyndsey after she dug her hand in her cake and she is saying mmmmm

Lyndsey with her cool new shades from Steve, Katie, and Sara---she looks so cute too bad we can't get her to keep them on.

Lyndsey opening presents--she learned how to do this well at Christmas and apparently she didn't forget.

And here is my dollface after the long bday/Easter weekend---wiped out and so was her mama. I am so glad that the family was together though, those times are few and far between and greatly treasured!!!

Twas the night before Christmas.....

Every year I say the same thing...so much time and preparation goes into getting ready for Christmas and it takes 5 minutes for it all to be to over. Tonight we celebrated Christmas Eve with Bob's sister Jennifer and her family and my sister Jennifer and her family. The kids of course didn't want to worry about eating first and all that they just wanted the presents but we had a little surprise for them and Santa rang the doorbell. He brought each of them a present and they all got their picture made sitting with him, we are sure it has been quite a few years for some of the older ones.
This of course being Lyndsey's first Christmas, I have been taking pictures like crazy all day. Here she is her Christmas dress from Gma Brittain--a little sad because she didn't get to see her in it in person...and the next picture is her anxiously awaiting a present.
Lyndsey is slowly getting the hang of removing the paper, once she figured out the first gift she clapped her hands and would then whine for more.

Here is the group of them opening presents, Lyndsey is still wanting more.

The girls getting ready to have Christmas pictures made.
Lyndsey with Santa, could not get her to look at the camera, she was way more interested in him.
